Domestic Terms & Conditions
Busy Bee Clean LTD is registered in England and Wales under the company number 09360306 registered address Kemp House, 128 City Road, London, Greater London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX. The terms and conditions below may be changed with the agreement of both the customers and Busy Bee Clean LTD.
By using our service you agree to the following terms and conditions.
QUOTES AND PRICES
- Any price given over the phone, by email, live chat or shown on our website are valid only for the described property.
- All prices provided by us do include materials and equipment, parking and congestion charge may apply.
- An additional cost may apply if we must defrost the fridge or freezer if it has not already been done by the customer.
- Access to the electricity and water must be provided by the customer.
- If the start or finish of the job delayed by the customer there will be an additional cost.
- If only carpet cleaning is booked, there is £80 minimum charge.
- There will be an additional cost if we must collect the keys and return them to a different address than the property address cleaned.
- We have the right to increase the price of the quote if the property is in a critical cleaning condition, simply depends on how dirty the property is we can change the price accordingly.
- All our prices for domestic cleaning are inclusive of VAT, this means we don’t add VAT to the price. This may change in the future and will update here accordingly.
PAYMENTS
- We accept the following payment methods: Cash, Bank Transfer, Online booking on our website using credit or debit card.
- Payment is cash ONLY on the day (with 50% upfront) Or the FULL amount via bank transfer prior to cleaning date. There is a 50% deposit.
- Payments can be made against the invoices we send you by email, there will be an option to pay using your card.
- Late payments will occur an additional cost of £2 per day starting from 24 hours after the cleaning.
- If payment is not paid within 28 days, it will be sent to a debt collection agency and there will be additional fee of 20% of the total invoice plus whatever the collecting agency fee pay add.

INSURANCE
- Busy Bee Clean has Employer & Public Liability Insurance, The Policy Covers any Accidental Damage caused by Us, If Valid and Reported on Completion of the Clean
- There is a £250 Excess Fee on any Accidental Damage Claim which £125 is paid by the Customer and £125 is paid by Busy Bee Clean LTD.
- We Reserves the right to Refuse to share any of the Company’s Confidential Information.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Busy Bee Clean LTD’s total liability for any claim, loss, or damage arising out of or in connection with the Services shall be limited to the total value of the Services provided. Busy Bee Clean LTD shall not be liable for:
- indirect or consequential losses
- loss of profit, rent, or business
- pre-existing damage
- wear and tear
- items not disclosed as fragile, valuable, or delicate
Nothing in this Agreement shall limit liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
CUSTOMER SATISFACTION
- Customer is not entitled to any refund but may be entitled to a free re clean Under the following conditions:
- If the Price for Cleaning was Quoted as a Fixed Price and the Service was not Charged per hour.
- If the Customer/ Landlord/ Estate Agent etc has not Occupied or Carried out Work in the Property after a Service has been Carried out.
- If a Task is not Completed that was requested at the time of Booking, given Sufficient time was Allowed.
- If the Customer Reports any issues within 48 hours of the Service being Carried out.
- If not Completely satisfied with a Service, we will return to Re-Clean any Areas where possible to do so.
- We do not have a refund policy once the service has been provided.
We will not guarantee a re-clean if the property has been accessed by anyone after the clean except the landlord and inventory clerk.
CANCELLATION BY CUSTOMER
- We require 24 hour notice if the customer wants to cancel or re-schedule or amend the booking.
- For amendments/ cancellations in less than 24 hours there is 100% fee payable
- In the Event the Cleaners are asked to leave, nobody is at the Property, or there is No Water and/or Power at the Property, Customer agrees to Pay Full Price.

PARKING, CONGESTION CHARGE
- Parking space and parking fee
- Parking space for the vehicle used by the cleaners must be arranged by the customer, parking fee is also to be covered by the customer.
- Congestion charge: Parking, ULEZ , Congestion are not include in the quote.
If the property is within the congestion charge zone, congestion charge fee will be added to the total amount. Short notice online booking:
Online Booking:
We do require 24 hours notice when booking is made online, we can not guarantee the availability of a slot if 24 hours notice is not allowed by the customer.
CLIENT ANTI-POACHING
The Client agrees that during the term of this Agreement and for a period of 12 month after its termination, they shall not directly or indirectly:
a) solicit, employ, engage, contract with, or accept services from any employee, subcontractor, cleaner, or representative introduced by Busy Bee Clean LTD, whether on a paid or unpaid basis;
b) encourage or permit any such person to cease working with Busy Bee Clean LTD in order to provide services directly to the Client or to a third party connected to the Client.
In the event of a breach of this clause, the Client agrees to pay Busy Bee Clean LTD a compensation fee of 3000 GBP per cleaner or 50% of the estimated annual value of the services (whichever is greater).
This fee represents a genuine pre-estimate of loss, including but not limited to recruitment costs, training, administration, and loss of business.
MARKETING COMMUNICATION
We might time to time send you promotional emails to the email address we have on our record, you can opt out from the email marketing by sending us an email requesting this or by unsubscribing to our mailing list.
Data Protection
Busy Bee Clean LTD will process personal data in accordance with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.Personal information is used solely for:
- providing services
- invoicing and payments
- customer communication
- legal and regulatory compliance
Data will not be shared with third parties except where required to fulfil the service or by law.
Clients may request access, correction, or deletion of their personal data by contacting Busy Bee Clean LTD.
PERSONAL ITEMS
Busy Bee Clean LTD doesn’t take any responsibility for lost items at the property and delicate items. Our cleaners are vetted and DBS checked to prevent any incidents.
Please make sure you take all expensive and delicate items away from the property while the cleaning is in process.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
The Client is responsible for securing all valuables, fragile, or sentimental items prior to the commencement of cleaning.Busy Bee Clean LTD shall not be responsible for loss or damage to items that were not removed, disclosed, or reasonably protected.The Client must ensure access to water, electricity, and safe working conditions at all times.
CLEANER ALLOCATION
Busy Bee Clean LTD reserves the right to allocate, replace, or substitute cleaners at its discretion due to sickness, holiday, or operational requirements.All cleaners are vetted and trained to meet Busy Bee Clean LTD standards. Substitution does not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
Commercial terms and conditions (including Airbnb)
BACKGROUND
- The Client is of the opinion that the Contractor has the necessary qualifications, experience and abilities to provide services to the Client.
- The Contractor is agreeable to providing such services to the Client on the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement.
IN CONSIDERATION OF the matters described above and of the mutual benefits and obligations set forth in this Agreement, the receipt and sufficiency of which consideration is hereby acknowledged, the Client and the Contractor (individually the «Party» and collectively the «Parties» to this Agreement) agree as follows:
The Services will also include any other tasks which the Parties may agree on. The Contractor hereby agrees to provide such Services to the Client.
Term of Agreement
- The term of this Agreement (the «Term») will begin on the date of this Agreement and will remain in full force and effect indefinitely until terminated as provided in this Agreement.
- In the event that either Party wishes to terminate this Agreement, that Party will be required to provide at least 30 days notice to the other Party.
- In the event that the Client would like to cancel or reschedule a clean on a specific date, The Contractor must be notified at least 24h in advance.
- In the event that cleaner got sick, absent or become on annual leave, the replacement will be provided by the Contractor at no extra cost.
- In the event that either Party breaches a material provision under this Agreement, the non-defaulting Party may terminate this Agreement and require the defaulting Party to indemnify the non-defaulting Party against all reasonable damages.
- This Agreement may be terminated at any time by mutual agreement of the Parties.
- Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, the obligations of the Contractor will end upon the termination of this Agreement.
Performance
- The Parties agree to do everything necessary to ensure that the terms of this Agreement take effect.
Currency
- Except as otherwise provided in this Agreement, all monetary amounts referred to in this Agreement are in UK Pounds.
Compensation
- For the services rendered by the Contractor as required by this Agreement, the Client will provide compensation (the «Compensation») to the Contractor at the rate of ___ per week. Invoices are to be provided monthly and payment is due within 15 days of the invoice date.
- The Compensation will be payable on a monthly basis, while this Agreement is in force.
- The Compensation as stated in this Agreement does not include value added tax, or other applicable duties as may be required by law. Any value added tax and duties required by law will be charged to the Client in addition to the Compensation.
- The Compensation does not include cleaning products and equipment
Commercial Pricing
Commercial pricing is agreed separately in writing and may be subject to periodic review.Unless otherwise stated, prices exclude VAT, cleaning materials, and equipment.Any additional services requested outside the agreed scope will be charged separately.
Return of Property
- Upon the expiry or termination of this Agreement, the Contractor will return to the Client any property, documentation, records, or Confidential Information which is the property of the Client.
Capacity/Independent Contractor
- In providing the Services under this Agreement it is expressly agreed that the Contractor is acting as an independent contractor and not as an employee. The Contractor and the Client acknowledge that this Agreement does not create a partnership or joint venture between them, and is exclusively a contract for service.
Notice
- All notices, requests, demands or other communications required or permitted by the terms of this Agreement will be given in writing and delivered to the Parties of this Agreement as follows:

Indemnification
- Except to the extent paid in settlement from any applicable insurance policies, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, each Party agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the other Party, and its respective affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and permitted successors and assigns against any and all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, penalties, punitive damages, expenses, reasonable legal fees and costs of any kind or amount whatsoever, which result from or arise out of any act or omission of the indemnifying party, its respective affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and permitted successors and assigns that occurs in connection with this Agreement. This indemnification will survive the termination of this Agreement.
Legal Expenses
- In the event that legal action is brought to enforce or interpret any term of this Agreement, the prevailing Party will be entitled to recover, in addition to any other damages or award, all reasonable legal costs and fees associated with the action.
Modification of Agreement
- Any amendment or modification of this Agreement or additional obligation assumed by either Party in connection with this Agreement will only be binding if evidenced in writing signed by each Party or an authorized representative of each Party.
Client Anti-Poaching
20. The Client agrees that during the term of this Agreement and for a period of 12 month after its termination, they shall not directly or indirectly:

Time of the Essence
21. Time is of the essence in this Agreement. No extension or variation of this Agreement will operate as a waiver of this provision.
Assignment
22. The Contractor will not voluntarily, or by operation of law, assign or otherwise transfer its obligations under this Agreement without the prior written consent of the Client.
Entire Agreement
23. It is agreed that there is no representation, warranty, collateral agreement or condition affecting this Agreement except as expressly provided in this Agreement.
Enurement
24. This Agreement will enure to the benefit of and be binding on the Parties and their respective heirs, executors, administrators, successors and permitted assigns.
Titles/Headings
25. Headings are inserted for the convenience of the Parties only and are not to be considered when interpreting this Agreement.
Gender
26. Words in the singular mean and include the plural and vice versa. Words in the masculine mean and include the feminine and vice versa.
Governing Law
27. It is the intention of the Parties to this Agreement that this Agreement and the performance under this Agreement, and all suits and special proceedings under this Agreement, be construed in accordance with and governed, to the exclusion of the law of any other forum, by the laws of England, without regard to the jurisdiction in which any action or special proceeding may be instituted.
Severability
28. In the event that any of the provisions of this Agreement are held to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, all other provisions will nevertheless continue to be valid and enforceable with the invalid or unenforceable parts severed from the remainder of this Agreement.
Waiver
29. The waiver by either Party of a breach, default, delay or omission of any of the provisions of this Agreement by the other Party will not be construed as a waiver of any subsequent breach of the same or other provisions.
