Cleaning overview

At Busy Bee Clean, we use a comprehensive end of tenancy cleaning checklist approved by estate agents to meet landlords’ strict requirements.

All rooms

• Walls – dusted and free of cobwebs
• Doors and handles – dusted, wiped and polished
• Windows (including windowsills, handles and ledges) – cleaned and wiped internally
• Corners and ceilings – dusted, and free of cobwebs
• Wall pictures and mirrors – dusted, clean, and free of spots and fingerprints
• Light fittings and shades – dusted and wiped
• Vacuumed/mopped all the floors
• Clean skirting and boards behind movable furniture
• Curtain rails and radiators – dusted, wiped and clean from top to bottom and behind
• Carpets vacuuming (professional carpet cleaning available for extra cost)
• Upholstery – vacuumed (professional upholstery cleaning available for extra cost)
• Spindles and banisters – dusted and wiped
• Clean and polish cupboards, drawers, shelves, and wooden furniture thoroughly

Bathrooms

• All bathroom fixtures cleaned & polished & sanitized
• Limescale & soap scum removed from all surfaces
• Tiles washed, descaled and polished with a soft cloth
• All chrome/metal plated surfaces descaled and polished
• Bath & shower areas descaled, cleaned and sanitized
• Waste removing and cleaning (where design allows)
• Toilet, toilet cistern and U-bend – cleaned & sanitized
• Remove limescale from the toilet bowl where feasible. If heavy limescale buildup exists, please contact us for guidance on preparation steps

Kitchen

• Kitchen surfaces (countertops/worktops) – washed and sanitized
• Cupboards and drawers – cleared out/in, wiped
• Wall tiles – free of stains, mould and grease, washed and polished
• Sink and taps – washed, free of limescale, sanitized, polished; dry and clean with soft cloth
• Internal rubbish bins – empty, cleaned inside and out
• Fridge and freezer – internally and externally clean (freezer has be unfrozen in advance)
• Microwave – wiped from inside and outside
• Dishwasher – clean from inside and outside
• Washing machine internally and externally
• Tumble dryer (including dust and lint filters, rubber seal, handles, etc.)
• Hobs and grill – clean and polished
• Oven – degreased, cleaned inside /out, outside chrome and glass parts
• Cooker – cleaned
• Extractor fan – degreased, clean and polished
• Kitchen appliances (toaster, kettle, etc.) – cleaned
• Damp wipe window ledges, skirting boards, door frame and radiators
